CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS:
Issue 004: Taking Root
The Tellus Zine Editorial Board is seeking creative submissions from young adults (ages 13-21) to be featured Tellus Zine: Issue 004 in response to the theme: Taking Root
In the fourth issue of Tellus, we are looking for artists and writers to TELL US! What brings you stability in a constantly shifting world?
“Taking Root” is a phrase that has many meanings. Imagine a noble tree, its foundation firmly set in the ground, unshaken by the gusting winds. The dignified tree hosting families of wildlife, a buoy in an unyielding sea. As a parallel to Tellus Zine’s third issue theme, Life is Change, which explored the perpetual movement of life, Taking Root is all about rest and replenishment. TELLUS! What brings you stability in a constantly shifting world? In what ways have you adapted to novel situations? Consider your individual experience as well as your part in a larger community.
