A Wonderful Celebration of our 5th issue of Tellus Zine with the Teens.

Your attendance at the The Tellus Zine Launch Party on April 13th was much appreciated and contributed to it’s success. It was in celebration of the completion of the 5th issue of Tellus Zine and express our gratitude for the hardwork of the editorial board and the design committee in put it all together!

Each attendee received a free copy of both of our zines from this year (issue 4.5 Girlhood and issue 5 Value). There was music, food, arts and crafts, teen performances, nail painting, henna tattoos, and the first 50 teens recieved a free screen printed Tellus t-shirt at the event followed by an After Party that ended with Karaoke! We hope you had as much fun at The Tellus Zine Launch Party as we did planning the event.

Mini Launch Party! Tellus Zine Issue 4.5 "Girlhood(It's Complicated)"

Come and celebrate the first ever collaborative issue of Tellus Zine! This issue was inspired by the exhibition “Girlhood(It’s Complicated),” now on view at the Cincinnati Museum Center. To celebrate we will be hosting an evening of fun at Kennedy Heights Arts Center’s Lindner Annex. There will be arts and crafts like, collage, friendship bracelet and button making. The Editorial Board's activities are facilitated by Kennedy Heights Arts Center's Director of Arts Education, Sarah Rodriguez.
Issue 01 was also co-facilitated by Brittany Vernon, Bethany Pelle, and Rachael Banks, and Issue 02 was co-facilitated by Bethany Pelle and Brandon Parker.
