Now Accepting Submissions to Issue 006: Variety and Issue 007: Cosmos

Tellus Zine invites teens to submit any work of art to be featured on one of our two issues this year,  Variety and Cosmos.


Variety - 
We, as humans, have many differences and similarities. Explore the contrast, interactions, relationships, and analogies in your life through your art. Reflect on the variety of experiences, people, challenges, and identities. 

Open call for issue 006: Variety ends March 15th. 

Extended Deadline! Receiving submissions for Varitety until April 5th.

Cosmos - Defined as the universe and its nature or order, what is your cosmos? Wonder: what is your world? What is your reality? Define beauty, space, and essence in your galaxy. Reflect on the course of your existence and the orbit of the people around you. 

Open call for issue 007: Cosmos ends April 5th. 

All mediums and art types, 3D, 2D, videos, audio files, writing, poetry, or any other creative work, are welcome.

Submission Guidelines

  • Documents must be saved as a PDF. , PNG. ,or JPEG.

  • Files MUST be labeled with artist’s first and last name, age, title and email.

    Firstname_Lastname_ age_ title_email address

    Ex: Jamie_Smith_ 17_ “Never Give Up”_jamiesmith@gmail.com

  • If the file is not properly labeled it will not be included in the zine.

The Editorial Board's activities are facilitated by Kennedy Heights Arts Center's Director of Arts Education, Asha White and co-facilitated by After School Program Coordinator, Shawndale Thomas.
