How to Resize Image Files

Open the Paint application

Make a copy of the image file

Open the image in Paint

Select the entire image

Click the "Resize" button

Choose to “Resize by Pixels” and use the "Resize" fields to change the size of the image

Click "OK" to see your resized image

Drag the canvas edges to match the resized image

Save your resized image.

Open the Preview application

Open the image you want to edit in the File menu

Select Tools from the top menu

Adjust Size will give you all the options you need to adjust the size and shape of your chosen image

Re-save the image using the File menu

Click Save and select a location to store your new image

Open file in Adobe Photoshop

Go to File

Go to Export

Go to Save for Web

Select JPEG

Select Convert to sRGB

Adjust image size by changing pixel dimensions on long or short edge

Click Save
