The word “whimsy” made me think of “silly magic”. In my mind, silly magic would include a wizard/witch and an animal. So in my plan, I decided to combine them. The result is a bright yellow sleeping duck wearing a witch costume while floating in outer space. I chose Outer space as the background because I have always found the night sky/universe to be magical, and it just went with the theme. I made the title “Sleepwaddling” because it gave a sense of childlike wonder and a sense of no boundaries for imagination.
