Pumpkins
Natalie Alexander, 11/7/24, glass and black ink etching print.
This piece shows a patch of pumpkins that are in black ink. I spent numerous hours etching the design into a piece of glass, and then rolled it in ink to press onto a wet piece of paper that would emulate the design. The print came out pretty clearly, which helped to show the crisp edges of the pumpkins.

I typically use mixed media in all my pieces, such as watercolors, collages, colored pencils, gouache, and acrylic paint. I enjoy experimenting with strong contrasts and vibrant colors. In my ongoing investigation for my AP Art class, I emphasize the reminiscing and reflection occurring in the world on various topics, both personal and universal.
