I decided to go with a sort of mushroom theme, representing an odd and msyterious sense of atmosphere. The portal in the house is meant to represent mystery and sort of an unknown beyond. I thought the colors green, pink, blue, and slight purple could give off an "odd" atmosphere, making the land appear fictional. Along with the eyelashes showing this is from the first person POV, I wanted the "Whimsy" theme to show a sort of odd and unreal type world. This theme was hard to recreate, but using references from other fantasy type worlds I found this was the best way to represent the overall theme of "Whimsy".
