When we think of whimsy there are thousands of meanings or definitions in the human mind or even computer but which one is the best definition? The crazy thing about people's perspectives is that all of them are like a fingerprint they are all different in many ways that we see with our eyes and our minds working which makes every viewing of the artwork unique. So when the word whimsy pops up in my mind I think of different, unique, and doesn't fit in with others, or maybe it's just normal the way you see it or use it than others. But some might be afraid that the word “whimsy” means weird and out of place but what if it's not? I mean maybe this word can express the magic of being an artist.
So when I did my artwork under the theme of whimsy I thought this was a way to show that hey I'm being myself and living under the motto; life is too short to be basic. By using this saying I used lots of unique characters that would be shown in this artwork. I used
pops of colors and maybe even a little foil glitter! But some other magic is the progress of what this made because when you start basic fresh with no experience then being a full-on master and killing it is what I like to say is the magic of being an artist. I mean yeah it's hard work and takes patience but it's all worth it in the end just to put yourself out there and express your magic. Thank you for this whimsy experience and opportunity.
