I interpret the word whimsy as bright, colorful, and childish in a fantastical and delightful way. Space and the concept of aliens brings out my childlike wonder and fascination with our galaxy. I created my interpretation of space with rainbow colors, glitter, and various textures because I feel it adds to the idea of the eccentric nature of a child’s mind.
