Multimedia Storytelling Event Led by Monique John

Tellus Zine is honored to host a Multimedia Storytelling workshop for teens led by WCPO reporter and Report for America Fellow, Monique John.

Monique John is a reporter covering gentrification for WCPO and has previously covered a wide range of topics in both the United States and Liberia.

In December, Monique visited the Tellus Editorial board as guest speaker to share stories of her personal and professional journey into journalism.

On January 30, Monique will return for a second engagement with Tellus Zine––this time to share in depth insights into multimedia approaches to storytelling with a broader audience of local teens. This event will be a great opportunity for teens looking to refine skills or discover a new interest.

Tellus Zine is a digital publication, led by an all-youth editorial board, showcasing visual art and creative writing by young adults from across Greater Cincinnati. Our event series provides an opportunity for youth to learn more about careers in the arts and media.
