Issue 002 to Launch on May 28

Tellus Zine is very excited to announce the upcoming release its second annual issue with the theme of Metamorphosis. The Editorial Board was shocked by the number of submissions received and the incredible effort put into every piece. The board noticed thematic patterns among the submissions we received, which we believe can be attributed to the tumult of last year, as young Americans were forced to find themselves throughout months of quarantine, as well as come to terms with the state of their government and country through last summer’s protests and January’s insurrection. Many of the artists’ submissions were introspective and acknowledged metamorphoses inside themselves through an exploration of mental health. Many also predicted a better future by illustrating a transformed society and an emphasis on nature and the outdoors. Tellus is so excited for our audience to enjoy its second annual issue, and are hopeful that we will all see the bright future illustrated by our contributors someday soon.
